APRIL 2024

The Chamber attended the PCCI's 1st General Membership Meeting at Dusit Thani Hotel last April 05, 2024. Presidential Adviser for Investment and Economic Affairs, Secretary Frederick D. Go, emphasized the government's initiatives to improve the Philippine investment climate. 

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Parañaque City, Inc. (PCCI Parañaque), under the leadership of President Rene Vincent Torralba, recently held its 88th General Membership Meeting (GMM) at the Activity Center of 88 Square Mall on April 12, 2024.

This important gathering brought together key figures from Parañaque's business community, including industry experts and government officials. The event's theme, "Governance and Policy: Shaping the Future of the City," highlighted the importance of collaboration in fostering a thriving business environment.

Our Chamber represented by Sec Gen Elfred Lope attended the Go Negosyo's Mentor Me Session during the Franchise Asia Expo 2024 FAPHL 2024. Go Negosyo's 3M on Wheels is a free program that aims to help Filipino entrepreneurs by providing them with three key things: Mentorship, Money, and Market.  

Our Chamber attended The Manila Times with the theme "Generating Green Futures for Generations" last April 18, 2024, at Seda Manila Bay, Parañaque City. The forum aimed to bring together various stakeholders to discuss solutions for achieving a sustainable future without compromising present needs. It centered around the concept of intergenerational equity, ensuring a healthy environment for future generations. 

Our Chamber in partnership with DTI NCRO conducted a free seminar on Bookkeeping in last April 19, 2024. Effective bookkeeping is the backbone of any successful business, and we recognize the importance of equipping our members with the necessary skills to manage their finances efficiently. 

Our chamber conducted a Negosyo Forum partnership with Barangay Don Bosco, LEDIPO Paranaque, and DTI. This forum aims to empower aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in Barangay Don Bosco by providing them with valuable knowledge and resources. 

The Work Immersion Program supervisor from PNHS Main visited the Chamber office together with the DTI and LEDIPO to monitor OJTs assigned to the office. Work Immersion Program is a mandatory program in the Philippines for Grades 11 and 12 students. It aims to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical work experience.
