Our Chamber conducted its regular board of directors meeting last February 2, 2024, at the MVENT Philippines Office.

As a member of LGU's Peace and Order Committee, the Chamber, represented by Sec. Gen. Elfred Lope attended its 1st Quarter Meeting held last February 08, 2024 at the Mayor's Conference Room at the Parañaque City Hall.

The Chamber, led by President Rene Vincent Torralba Jr., along with its Board of Directors, recently met with Arnel R. Cosinas, the new Revenue District Officer of BIR RDO 052. This introductory meeting aimed to establish a positive working relationship between the Chamber and the BIR, paving the way for potential collaborative projects in the future. 

Our chamber participated in a meeting with Go Negosyo founder Mr. Joey Concepcion, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) President Ms. Enunina "Nina" Mangio, along with former PCCI President Mr. George Barcelon. Representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) were also present, including USEC Ma. Cristina Roque. Additionally, the meeting involved representatives from the PCCI-NCR and various local chamber presidents from the National Capital Region (NCR).

During the meeting, Go Negosyo presented its programs and advocacy initiatives. They emphasized their goal of supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) not just within the NCR but throughout the entire Philippines. They sought continued collaboration from all local chambers and the PCCI to achieve these goals.

President Rene Vincent Torralba, Jr. represented our chamber at the PCCI-NCR Board of Directors Meeting. This meeting took place on February 13, 2024, at the Manila Hotel.

President Rene Vincent Torralba Jr. and the Board of Directors from our chamber were present at the 12th Induction & Turn-Over Ceremony. This event was held at the Manila Hotel on February 13, 2024. 

During the week-long celebration of Parañaque Cityhood, the Chamber, represented by Sec Gen Elfred Lope had a courtesy meeting with LEIPO Valenzuela head, Ms. Janina Bautista. After the meeting, Sec Gen Lope toured the group at the Coop-Tiangge located on the city hall grounds.

As part of the Local Monitoring Committee, the Chamber, represented by Sec. Gen Elfred Lope, monitored the projects and programs of LGU at Brgy San Antonio. This aims to ensure that all programs, projects, services, and activities undertaken by local government units (LGUs) are implemented efficiently, effectively, and with transparency. 

Led by President Rene Torralba, together with the officers and board members, hold a Strategic Planning Workshop on February 24, 2024, at Kingsford Hotel Manila. This workshop aimed to chart a clear direction for the Chamber, develop a focused plan, and foster a collaborative spirit to drive the organization's long-term success. 

A formal turnover ceremony took place to present donated Shared Service Facility (SSF) equipment to the City Government of Parañaque. Representing our chamber was Secretary General Elfred Lope. Other dignitaries in attendance included Honorable Mayor Eric Olivarez, LEDIPO Head Ms. Lolita Duria, DTI OIC Regional Director Ms. Sofia Narag, and DTI Division Chief Area 1, Ms. Corona Olivia Rivera. 

The Chamber invites its members and business associates in Parañaque City to participate in a DOST Production Planning and Control Webinar held on February 27, 2024. This informative webinar offered valuable insights and practical strategies to enhance participants' understanding and capabilities in this essential area of manufacturing.
