PCCI–Parañaque achieved another milestone with the successful staging of its 93rd General Membership Meeting (GMM) held last December 17 at Kathy’s Hub, Parañaque. Spearheaded by President Rene Vincent Torralba, the event focused on the timely theme, “Empowering Family Business through Strategic Partnership.”
The Chamber warmly welcomed Ms. Yolly Dela Cruz, Incoming Area Vice President, and Ms. Helen Lising, Incoming Secretary General of PCCI-NCR, whose presence highlighted strong support for the local business community.
A key highlight of the event was the insightful session led by guest speaker Mr. Jonathan Ramos, CEO of Premier Family Business Consulting Inc. He shared valuable perspectives on managing family-owned enterprises, emphasizing how strategic partnerships and professional governance can drive sustainability and harmony across generations.
Translating insights into action, the gathering also featured the official Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing between PCCI–Parañaque and Premier Family Business Consulting Inc. The partnership is set to equip members with specialized tools and consultancy services tailored to the unique dynamics of family businesses.

Centered on the theme “Enabling Growth through Forex: Empowering Parañaque Businesses with Seamless Payment Solutions,” the event brought together local entrepreneurs, community leaders, and key stakeholders to explore strategies for business growth and efficiency in a globalized market.
The session featured an engaging presentation by Mr. Paolo Datuin, Segment Manager at Petnet Forex Solutions, who shared insights on leveraging forex and seamless payment solutions to optimize operations, reduce costs, and expand market reach. Attendees gained practical guidance on navigating foreign exchange, turning it into a tool for business growth.
Representatives from the local government, including Mr. Juancho Fajardo (Barangay Operations Office) and Ms. Lolita Duria (LEDIPO), highlighted the strong collaboration between the city and its business community. Doc Hernando Delizo, Area Vice President of PCCI-NCR, emphasized regional cooperation as key to building a resilient economy.

PCCI–Parañaque successfully held its 90th General Membership Meeting (GMM) on April 4, 2025, at Kingsford Hotel, Parañaque City, coinciding with the Chamber’s 31st anniversary of supporting and advocating for the local business community. Under the leadership of President Rene Vincent Torralba, the event highlighted recent accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and future strategic directions while celebrating three decades of service.
The program featured remarks from key guests, including Atty. Ding Soriano, representing Congressman Edwin Olivarez, who emphasized public-private collaboration, and Mr. Nelson Mendoza, Past President and current PCCI-NCR Regional Governor for the South Sector, who shared insights from both the chapter’s history and regional perspective. A keynote address by Mr. Gerald Divinagracia, Undersecretary for Operations at the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), underscored efforts to streamline government processes and improve ease of doing business—a topic highly relevant to local entrepreneurs.

PCCI–Parañaque also welcomed PCCI-NCR representatives Area Vice President Hernan Delizo and North Sector Regional Governor Yolly Dela Cruz, alongside partners USAID SPEED and START-UP VILLAGE, who provided guidance and resources to help SMEs navigate the digital landscape.
The meeting focused on four key objectives:
